This is another selection of images chosen from my A Level Fine Art coursework, I selected these images because I believe that they show a good ability to progress my ideas from a basic vision into a completed piece of work.

Scene analysis
This is an analysis of one of my favourite film scenes from Terry Gilliam's 1998 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas', which I wrote as part of my coursework for my AS Level Film Studies course. I chose to upload this as it received an A grade and I believe that it shows a keen understanding of how the different elements of cinema (Cinematography, Mise En Scene, Lighting, Sound etc) can be used together to evoke certain emotions and feelings, and leave a lasting impression on the audience.

Art
Below is a collection of pieces of artwork both from units of college work and created during free time. I chose to upload these images as I believe that they showcase a keen artistic vision and powerful imagination, things that I believe are vital to the art of film making.
Micro analysis
This Essay is the micro analysis of my AS Level Film Studies coursework, where I had to analyse a selection of scenes and shots of my choosing and then talk about why I chose to do things in certain ways, as well as discussing the overall vision that I had whilst creating my film. I chose to upload this essay as I believe that it shows a good technical understanding of Film as well as a diligent approach to the creation of the moving image.

Gender Essay
This is the research essay that I had to write for my Media Studies A Level course. Before we were allowed to create our own pieces of film imagery, we first had to understand the codes and conventions that applied to our chosen genres, so that we could choose to reflect or defy them in our work.

Media Coursework Continued
This
is the final piece of my A level Media Studies coursework. I apologize for the
poor quality, as I was unable to find the final completed copy of the file, I scanned
in an A3 printed copy (which I had to collect from college as it was on display
in the reception area) My teacher told me confidentially that my work was the
best produced by anyone in my year, and for the completed unit I received an A. All images were
created single-handedly using a combination of studio images of friends and
stock photos in Adobe Photoshop CS6
A Level Media Coursework
Below are two of
the three designs which together constitute my A Level Media Studies final
coursework piece. We were tasked with researching a specific genre and writing
a lengthy, in depth analysis of said genre, learning about the specific codes,
conventions and stereotypes that are associated with it. We were then asked to
produce three images in the form of two commercial film posters along with the
design for a DVD sleeve for a fictional movie that we thought of ourselves. My
fictional film was titled 'Checkout' and was a homage to the Action &
Comedy hybrid genre.
